2022 SymWest Conference

May 9th - 11th
The Graduate Hotel
Eugene, Oregon

Technology Happens just loves SymWest. We were proud to again be a Break sponsor and offering a break-out session.

Thanks to all who joined us on Monday from 1-2:30pm for the class; Simply Meant to Code.

The goals of this session were to

  1. take a close look at the types of operations and systems processes that challenge even the most successful Credit Unions and

  2. provide ideas to take back to your Credit Union and improve performance.

After numerous Site Evaluations and Staff Augmentation, we noticed how inefficiency in Credit Unions’ operations and systems processes hurt a Credit Union’s ability to serve its members. This session focused on ways to identify and prioritize internal and external processes that can be solved “Simply”. By optimizing the latest coding standards and innovations within Episys we have Helped Credit Unions Thrive!

This year’s theme, Simply Meant to Code, mirrored in our Break-Out Session, takes our experience with numerous Site Evaluations and Staff Augmentation engagements and looks hard at the inefficiencies in Credit Unions’ operations and systems processes which hurt a Credit Union’s ability to serve its members and Help your Credit Union Thrive!

2022 Symeast conference

April 11th - 14th
Hyatt Regency
Greenville, South Carolina

Technology Happens just loves SymEast. We were proud to again be a Platinum sponsor, offer a pre-conference class, and a break-out session.

A special thanks to those that joined us Monday for the pre-conference class; Thriving with PowerFrame Docs – Your Migration Journey. The goals of this session were to

1) share fundamental information about PowerFrame Docs so the attendee will be able to develop a migration plan for their organization

2) share a sample conversion to demonstrate how PowerFrame Docs works.

PowerFrame Docs holds the promise of moving SymForm and SymForm PDF to the next level.  For many, the investment in the older SymForm and SymForm PDF spans many years of development.

Migrating to the new PowerFrame Docs platform is no small effort.  This migration will require careful understanding of what PowerFrame Docs offers, determining which of the current forms should be retired, which should be migrated, and which should be updated and migrated.

This training session included two distinct areas of focus.  First, a focus on establishing a clear understanding of what PowerFrame Docs is and what it is not.  Then, we presented the primary considerations that guide the creation of a migration plan for the Credit Union.  Finally, we reviewed the primary items to create a sample migration plan that the attendees were able to take back to the Credit Union to facilitate the development of a migration plan to support this journey.

The session also shared a sample conversion to demonstrate PowerFrame Docs and introduced some of the primary programming elements to successfully convert existing forms using PowerFrame Docs.

This year’s theme, Simply Meant to Code, takes our experience with numerous Site Evaluations and Staff Augmentation engagements and looks hard at the inefficiencies in Credit Unions’ operations and systems processes which hurt a Credit Union’s ability to serve its members.  This focus looks for ways to identify and prioritize internal and external processes that can be solved “Simply”.  Optimize the latest coding standards and innovations within Episys to Help your Credit Union Thrive!

Technology Happens and Member Vantage Point were proud to be Sponsors of this year's SEC Conference!

This year's SEC was AMAZING for our two companies!  We are feeling particularly honored by the amount of traffic and the interest level shown by the credit union family for our custom programming and MVP digital signature capture solutions.  We absolutely LOVE assisting Credit Unions to optimize the value they receive from Episys and applying new technologies like MVP to take things to a whole new level!

We launched the 2016 MVP Pilot Promotion and 2017 MVP Launch Promotion!

May 11-13
Hilton
Eugene, OR

Technology Happens and Member Vantage Point were proud to once again be Sponsors for the SymWest Conference.

THREE GREAT SYMITAR USER GROUP CONFERENCES IN A ROW!  We again connected with long-time friends and clients, and enjoyed meeting and making new friends while enjoying the hospitality of Eugene, OR.  We thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many attendees at the educational session, Seal the Deal.  It was a real treat to have so much energy and questions surrounding our latest digital signature capture and content sharing solutions!  As was highlighted during this session, technology can provide a vital tool to engage and serve our members!

Thanks also to all those who stopped by our booth and shared some of their top priorities, opportunities, and challenges for 2016.  We are eager to engage to help apply the many exciting ways Technology Happens is enhancing how Symitar can be used to better serve your members and offer you some serious ways to drive improvements through business solutions that crush the standard of how technology happens.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like a copy of the Seal the Deal presentation, information regarding any of the products we demonstrated in our booth, or if you have a specific need that requires special attention.

Thanks to the whole SymWest Conference Planning Committee for a job well done!  Already looking forward to next year's conference!

ANOTHER GREAT CONFERENCE!  We connected (and danced) with long-time friends and clients, and enjoyed meeting and making new friends while enjoying the Conference and Columbus.  We were overjoyed by the attendance to the Pre-Conference Hands-on Class - Jump Start Java and the lively session led by Mike Blumenthal, Why you Need Efficiency Studies.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like a copy of any of the materials or resources referenced during these sessions.

The SymEast Conference Planning Committee did such a great job this year!  So well organized, informative, friendly, and fun!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
